Charity Chase is a 13.1 mile USATF Certified course beginning in Union Square of Downtown Hickory. All proceeds will benefit local charitable groups who come out and volunteer the day of the race.
Hickory Soup Kitchen Board members worked a water station for the with "the second year and as a result earned a portion of the proceeds of the event. We appreciate being included in this community event. (And we really enjoyed seeing the runners and providing them with refreshments as they dashed by!)
