How can I help?
Volunteer! Check with your church’s outreach program chairman or volunteer coordinator or call the Hickory Soup Kitchen Manager, Austin Pearce (828-327-4828).
Serving food is not strenuous and only requires your help for less than two hours around lunch time.
We often need donations of paper products, cleaning products, and other non-food items.
We also need help picking up surplus food from donors. If you have a truck or van and can lift boxes of food, please let us know.
Spread the word! Encourage your church, business, or civic organization to make a donation to the Hickory Soup Kitchen. We need your support to continue to serve the hungry in the Hickory area.
