The Hickory Soup Kitchen participates in the national Souper Bowl of Caring project. Youth in churches in the area are asked to help fight hunger by collecting $1 from each member of the congregation as they leave worship on Super Bowl Sunday. The money is sent directly to the Hickory Soup Kitchen.
