The Board of the Hickory Soup Kitchen hopes you had a joyous Christmas and will have a prosperous and healthy 2011.

We appreciate the support you have given us in 2010. With your help, we have been able to help feed the hungry in Catawba County for another year. We are thankful that donations of food and volunteer hours have increased this year. We are feeding more than twice as many people now than we have in the past. Our average number of meals for November was 227 per day, with 331 meals served on the busiest day. We also appreciate those of you who have supported us financially.

Without your generous donations, we would not be able to continue to operate. There are three opportunities for helping the Hickory Soup Kitchen in January and February: The Annual Spaghetti Dinner, Souper Bowl of Caring, and St. Stephens High School's Empty Bowl Event.
